The Water Meter Kit

3 monitoring modes available:

• “Vacant home” mode

  Alert triggered after just 2 liters detected, followed by an automatic double-check (measured flow + confirmation or cancellation).

• “Vacant but maintained” mode

  Designed for homes maintained during the day (gardener, pool technician, cleaning service…). This mode is activated outside of defined maintenance hours.

• “Flow monitoring” mode

  Ideal for monitoring water consumption or detecting hidden leaks.

  Features:

  • • Daily tracking over 7 days

    • Alert upon slow leak detection (continuous consumption over 24h)

    • Consumption counter with manual reset to track a specific period

    • Overuse alert (defined daily volume exceeded)

    • Flow monitoring (programmable time window + alert in case of anomaly). Useful for monitoring irrigation, as any variation will trigger an alert.

⚠️ Important: Make sure your water meter has a small metallic wheel that spins with the water flow. This component is required for the sensor to operate properly.

The kit is not waterproof: it must be installed in a sheltered location or protected from water exposure to ensure proper functioning.

• Option “Automatic”

  • The device switches modes automatically, which is very useful for a secondary residence used intermittently.

  • In “Flow monitoring” mode, if no consumption is detected for 2 days → switch to “Vacant home” mode

  • In “Vacant home” mode, if a punctual water flow is detected → switch back to “Flow monitoring” mode

And what if the device itself fails?

This is the only possible risk… but it is monitored too!

The device must send a report several times a day. If it stops communicating for more than 24 hours, the server will automatically send you an alert to report the malfunction.

The solution can detect a minimum leak of 2 L/hour (drip) if your water meter allows it.

Transforms your flow meter into a connected device: remote monitoring, real-time alerts, automatic data logging.

Depending on your settings, battery life can reach up to 2 years.

Notes:

• Compatibility: 3.3 V flow meters (≤ 15 mA). Some 5 V models may work but are considered out of specification and without warranty.

• Limitations: not compatible with K < 6 (example: f = 11Q → here K = 11). Better accuracy with a high K value, such as K = 11.

• The kit is not waterproof. It must be installed in a sheltered location or protected from any water exposure to ensure proper operation.

  ⚠️ Flow meter not included – only the module and its flow meter adapter are provided.

The Flow Meter Kit

2 monitoring modes available :

• "Calibration" mode
  Allows you to calibrate the flow sensor to improve accuracy or simply to identify its parameters.

• “Flow monitoring” mode

  Works in the same way as the water meter kit mode.
