Privacy policy
Special care has been taken to ensure the security and confidentiality of user information.
In general, data remains stored either on the device or on the smartphone. The Cloud only contains the bare minimum.
Why? Because we believe that the best way to ensure data security and privacy is to limit its distribution — and therefore the risk of exposure.
User data is never used beyond what is strictly necessary for the operation of the device and the application. It remains confidential and is not exploited.
Only the login email address is stored in the Cloud, to allow access to the smartphone application and the delivery of notifications.
In the Cloud version with a subscription, the few data elements required for device sharing between users are stored, encrypted, and secured in the Cloud (this is limited to the device’s configuration data).
Finally, some device algorithm behavior data may be temporarily recorded in the Cloud to enable remote support in case of issues.
Data Deletion Policy:
Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data at any time
To start this process, open the ODevice mobile app and go to the User menu from the main screen.
At the bottom of the Subscriptions section, select the “Delete account” option.
After confirmation, the user’s Cloud account and all associated data stored in the app will be permanently deleted
Any previously established device sharing with other users will be automatically revoked.
This action is irreversible.
