The Water Meter Kit

3 monitoring modes available:

• “Vacant home” mode

  Alert triggered after just 2 liters detected, followed by an automatic double-check (measured flow + confirmation or cancellation).

• “Vacant but maintained” mode

  Designed for homes maintained during the day (gardener, pool technician, cleaning service…). This mode is activated outside of defined maintenance hours.

• “Flow monitoring” mode

  Ideal for monitoring water consumption or detecting hidden leaks.

  Features:

  • • Daily tracking over 7 days

    • Alert upon slow leak detection (continuous consumption over 24h)

    • Consumption counter with manual reset to track a specific period

    • Overuse alert (defined daily volume exceeded)

    • Flow monitoring (programmable time window + alert in case of anomaly). Useful for monitoring irrigation, as any variation will trigger an alert.

⚠️ Important: Make sure your water meter has a small metallic wheel that spins with the water flow. This component is required for the sensor to operate properly.

The kit is not waterproof: it must be installed in a sheltered location or protected from water exposure to ensure proper functioning.

• Option “Automatic”

  • The device switches modes automatically, which is very useful for a secondary residence used intermittently.

  • In “Flow monitoring” mode, if no consumption is detected for 2 days → switch to “Vacant home” mode

  • In “Vacant home” mode, if a punctual water flow is detected → switch back to “Flow monitoring” mode

And what if the device itself fails?

This is the only possible risk… but it is monitored too!

The device must send a report several times a day. If it stops communicating for more than 24 hours, the server will automatically send you an alert to report the malfunction.

The solution can detect a minimum leak of 2 L/hour (drip) if your water meter allows it.

The flow meter is installed between the tap and the water circuit to be monitored. It detects any water flow and can send alerts based on your defined criteria.

¾” threading: adapters may be required depending on your plumbing.

Depending on your settings, battery life can reach up to 2 years.

Notes:

• The module only works with the supplied flow meter. It is not compatible with other models.

• The maximum measurable flow is 18 L/min (for comparison, a typical household tap runs at ~8 L/min).

• The flow meter detects flow rates above 2 L/min. Accuracy decreases at low flow rates.

• Battery optimization was achieved at the expense of measurement precision. Reported volumes may not be perfectly accurate but remain sufficient for reliable monitoring.

• The kit is not waterproof. It must be installed in a sheltered location or protected from any water exposure to ensure proper operation.

The operating modes will be the same as those of the water meter kit.

The Flow Meter Kit

The application will allow you to:

• Monitor your devices in detail (radio, battery, measurements, …)

• Adjust their settings

• Track their status (state, received messages, last communication time, …)

• Accurately estimate their autonomy

• Manage a fleet of devices

• Share devices with other users

The “ODevice” app is available in 🇬🇧 English and 🇫🇷 French on both Android and Apple phones.

Without Subscription

Devices are fully functional without any subscription.

However, there are a few limitations compared to subscription plans:

• Module configuration is done directly via Bluetooth between the phone and the module.

• Although all modules are visible (yours and those shared with you), you can only manage 1 module + 1 LoRa Box.

• Remote status visualization of your sensors is available.

Premium Subscription

• Reconfigure your modules remotely.

• Free for the first 3 months, then about €2/month if you subscribe.

Additional module subscriptions

• Manage from 2 to 4 modules + 1 LoRa Box.

• Priority access to your own modules, then to shared ones.
